Cloud Azure Administrator - Start Date 1st of October
Required Competencies:
- Azure Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services including: Azure AD, IAM / RBAC, Azure Private DNS Zones, global structure (Mgt Group, Subscription, Rsrce group), virtual machines (images, update, backup, scale sets), networking (vWAN, vNet, NSGs, private endpoints/links), storage (blob, file, disk), databases, monitoring (log analytics workspaces, insight, workbooks), SIEM (Sentinel), Azure policies, On-prem vs Azure interoperability (VPN/ER and Forwarding/Private DNS)
- Azure Services Mastery: Proficiency in a wide range of Azure services, including but not limited to: Application gateway, Azure Sentinel, Azure Service Bus, Azure Logic Apps and Azure Synapse.
In-depth understanding of these services capabilities, configurations, and integration possibilities to design efficient and effective solutions.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in creating and managing infrastructure using tools like Bicep, ARM templates, Ansible / Terraform, or similar technologies.
- Security Practices: Familiarity with Azure security features, identity and access management, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Ability to utilize Azure monitoring and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve performance issues and outages.
- Scripting and Automation: Proficient in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate repetitive tasks and streamline operational processes.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Excellent team spirit.
