Data Engineer – Azure (Contract, Remote in EU)

Our client, a dynamic consultancy working across diverse data & analytics projects, is looking to add a skilled Data Engineer – Azure to our client’s team on a contract basis. This is a fully remote role within the EU, offering the opportunity to work on impactful data initiatives, shape modern data platforms, and collaborate with high-calibre professionals in a business-focused environment.

Key Skills and Experience

• Azure Data Warehouse – Experience designing, building, and maintaining data warehouse solutions on Azure, enabling scalable analytics and reliable reporting across the organisation.

• SQL Server – Strong proficiency in writing complex queries, optimising performance, and managing databases to ensure data integrity and efficient access to critical information.

• CI/CD – Practical knowledge of setting up and managing continuous integration and delivery pipelines to streamline deployment processes, improve reliability, and support agile development practices.

• GitHub – Experience using GitHub for source control, collaboration, and code reviews, ensuring well-managed versioning and high-quality code across data engineering projects.
