Our client is seeking an experienced PostgreSQL DBA to support critical database initiatives within their organisation in Stockholm, Sweden. As a key member of our client’s team, you will play a central role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and smooth transition of their database landscape, working closely with technical stakeholders on important migration and optimisation projects. This is a contract opportunity offering the chance to contribute to high-impact work within a professional, technology-focused environment.

Key Skills and Experience

• PostgreSQL DBA – Practical experience administering PostgreSQL databases, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and day-to-day operational support to keep environments stable and efficient.

• Oracle DBA – Background in managing Oracle databases, allowing you to understand existing Oracle setups, support ongoing operations, and contribute effectively to any cross-platform or migration-related activities.

• Migration Projects – Hands-on involvement in database migration initiatives, such as moving workloads between platforms or versions, planning and executing data migration strategies, ensuring data integrity, and minimising downtime during transitions.
